The LiL’ Laxers Lacrosse Academy is a child development program for kids in grades K-2nd. It uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. The program is designed to create self- confidence, develop motor skills and promote physical fitness. The LiL’ Laxers is also designed to develop lacrosse skills in an environment of fun with little emphasis put on competition and a large emphasis is put on individual skill development.
LiL’ Laxers Lacrosse Academy uses a variety of progressive lessons and skill based fun games in a weekly format. Classes include progressions from learning the basic lacrosse skills of catching, throwing and scooping to the more advanced and challenging skills of dodging and shooting.
The series is open to all boys and girls in grades K-2nd. Classes are limited to 12 children per class. (Instructors are college aged players who are CPR and First Aid Certified who have real game experience and love to work with children).
Schedule and Fees: *Max of 12 children per class *6 week program- beginning Sept. 21st-Oct 26th *1 class per week (6 classes for the series) *1-hour class *Session 1- 11am **All Classes Take Place On Sundays *Location: The Swain School outdoor fields* *Costs: $100.00 per child, includes a Fiddle Lacrosse Stick.
